Vegetable Spring Rolls
Ingredients
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups noodles, cook until al dante
- 1 tbsp vegetble oil
- ½ medium green bell pepper
- 1 whole carrot, shredded
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
- 1½ cups cabbage,shredded
- ¼ cup sweet and sour sauce, of choice
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 2-3 tbsp water
- ~1 pack spring roll sheets
- ~5 cups vegetable oil, to fry
Instructions
Filling
- Boil water and cook the noodles in it until al dente.
- In a wok add some oil.
- Once the oil is heated add the bell peppers and carrots.
- Add salt and black pepper and cook until tender.
- Add chopped cabbage and cook it until tender.
- Mix in the noodles with the veggies.
- Add in the sweet and sour sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Flour Paste
- Take some flour in a small cup.
- Then add in some water and mix well until no lumps left.
Assembly
- Take spring roll sheet and add some filling.
- Roll it up and then seal it with the flour paste.
- Finally fry and serve hot.
